Description:

Zoline Eye Drop is a prescription medicine used to treat allergic diseases of the eye. It relieves redness and swelling of the eye and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort. Zoline Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. The most common side effects include burning and stinging at the application site. If these side effects persist for a longer duration, inform your doctor. How to use:

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

You can use Zoline Eye Drop twice a day or as prescribed by the doctor. If you see no improvement even after a week, consult your doctor. Apart from using eye drops, it is advisable to wash your eyes with luke warm water to reduce discomfort.

Zoline Eye Drop is a combination of six medicines: Naphazoline, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Boric Acid, Sodium Chloride and Zinc Sulfate. Naphazoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels in the eye, thereby reducing redness and inflammation (swelling). Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort in the eye. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for red, itchy, watery eyes. Boric Acid and Zinc Sulfate are antiseptics which treat bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation. Sodium Chloride is a purified salt solution which cleanses the eye and reduces swelling.
