Description:

Trikool Eye Drop is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of allergic eye diseases. It relieves redness and swelling of the eye and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort. How to use:

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

It adds moisture to the eyes and reduces dryness and burning sensation. Trikool Eye Drop also reduces infection and irritation in the eye. You can use Trikool Eye Drop 2-3 times a day or as prescribed by the doctor. If you see no improvement even after a week, consult your doctor. Apart from using eye drops, it is advisable to wash your eyes with luke warm water to reduce discomfort.

Trikool Eye Drop is a combination of five medicines: Naphazoline, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Boric Acid, Sodium Chloride and Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. Naphazoline is a decongestant which narrows the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Boric acid is an antiseptic which treats bacterial infection in the eyes and relieves irritation. Sodium chloride is a purified salt solution which works by drawing out water from swollen cornea. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye.
